Hello.
We do understand the frustration of waiting for assistance when one has an infected computer.
Volunteer resources are stretched at all malware removal forums, and we are seeing difficult infections which take longer to remove.
By the way, high view counts on a topic means little, members looking for similar problems will count as a view. It does not mean you have been ignored.
Please do not bump your thread, it will set your post date forward and add to your post count in the thread. Leading our volunteers to believe you are already being helped because they look for topics with no replies. Edit: Topics that are bumped may be closed.
Our own required waiting period before posting in this sub-forum, will vary depending on the availability of helpers, any changes will be edited in.
Do check you have followed the instructions here: "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance) (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288)
(http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=16806) Do NOT run 'fixes' before helpers have analyzed the HJT log (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=16806)
Even so, people do slip below the radar, especially if the forum is busy.
If you have waited four days or longer for assistance, please start a topic in this sub-forum and post with a link back to your topic in the HJT forum, so that we know who you are.
To do that, go to your topic and copy the url from the address bar. Paste that into your post in the waiting room.
Please do not post logs in the Waiting Room. ;)
Topics started over a weekend/holiday may experience delay, as volunteer helpers also spend time with family etc.
Please do not post here before (4) days have passed or it will be removed/merged with your forum topic. As in three days at midnight doesn't work. :p:
Once a helper responds to your topic in the malware forum your post in the Waiting Room will be removed.
Thank you and sorry for the delay. :)
