I've recently been infected with the resfix32v virus and i did some research on it and found that it has just recently been discovered according to pervx.com. It just keeps producing new processes and making my computer so slow i cant use it. i have trend micro internet pro but it dosent detect it just blocks it sometimes saying that it is performing suspicious activity. i cant get the HJT log or the Kaspersky log since the infection is so bad. I can locate where the program is at the path C:\Windows its just when i try and delete it it says i dont have permission. and ive found the path in the registry at HKLM\Sofware\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run but when i look for it its not there. thanks for your help

I have trend micro completly blocking the process now so I can kinda use my computer but for trend micro to block it, it uses 100% of my cpu and im afraid of burning up my processor so I only get on to check out what symptoms my pc has and I've found a new process in my task manager called perfs.exe and cxsrss.exe. I've found info on the perfs process at http://www.prevx.com/filenames/158743955030258754-X1/PERFS.EXE.html but nothing on the cxsrss process. And for some odd reason my LAN card got messed up to where i cant access the internet. Also now I am able to delete the program resfix32v with the program Eraser but just like any other stubbourn malware it just comes right back.
