This has probably been answered before but I can't find it:
I recently started using PortableApps on/from a USB drive and I find that about half the time Teatimer "Locks" the drive (with up to 4 locks I have observed) -> Windos tells me I can't remove it. On my Home Computer I have Unlocker and can force the issue. But what will happen if this predicament arises on another computer, eg. a public machine at the library... And I can't remove my USB drive for fear of corrupting it because Teatimer has it's claws in it, and I can't ascertain whatever else might also be holding files open on my USB drive. (Without Unlocker to advise me)
(I have sought in vain for a Portable version of Unlocker)

Teatimer has never warned me of Registry change attempts. But he puts locks on my USB drive nonetheless.

Try to deactivate TeaTimer.
