i was just wondering if you have/are considering implementing a tool for the ID3v2 part of the tags like you do for the v1. (would be bound to Ctrl+2)
i find the v1 tool very handy and would love to see something for the same fields for v2 (support for more than 30 characters)

i have no clue in pascal coding so the scripts are pretty much out of my league till i get some time to sit down and nut it out...

i love your program and i find it very handy to do all the things i need for organizing and tagging my audio collection and new recordings.

keep up the good work. :bigthumb:

cheers!

oh and also, how do i need to uninstall the old version to upgrade to the new one? i just un-installed the current one and then installed the latest downloadable version, and when i open it up it still says 0.4.6 (2007-01-31)
lol, what have i missed?

I've added a feature request for this: Ctrl+2 for ID3v2 dialog (http://forums.spybot.info/project.php?do=gotonote&issuenoteid=865)

You do know though that you can edit multiple items through the list on the right? I constantly use Ctrl+A (to select all) and then change things there. The only thing where this isn't perfect is when some fields are different for each file and you want to set them to the same thing.

Not sure what the about dialog should say, but a new version should be ready quite soon; if you take a look at the bugtracker, you'll notice that I'm trying to finish all side-product tasks currently.

yeah ive got the ctrl+A thing going, the tool just slipstreams the process of doing multiple fields at once.

im gunna dig around on the forums to find out a few other things that i have questions about before i post away. (when i get the time) lol..

anyways thanks for all the hard work.

Got a very simple ID3v2 dialog in 0.4.10 that I just uploaded (might take till Wednesday until it's on the website, the download link still needs to be updated). In the long run, we probably need something more flexible for the huge amount of possible ID3v2 fields there.
