When going through the screens in runalyzer.. is it baiscally safe to delete any lines that show no file in the data field?

Ups, that's a new feature. It even shows non-existing entries, to allow you to set them from within RunAlyzer if you want to change them, and also gives an overview of what RunAlyzer can detect at all.
Now that you mention it, we probably should grey them out or something to indicate they're placeholders for non-existing entries ;)
Anyway I would recommend that you keep even those that do exist empty (there are a few) - they don't do harm and you never know how Windows would react to the removal of keys that are default (even if empty) ;)
