I am having a similar problem, except it is in the Hex dump view. It appears to be a alignment error. I have been using FileAlyzer since 2004, but I can't remember the first version number I used. However, this has been a minor issue for me, since the first version I tried (I am now testing 1.52beta).

I am running FileAlyzer on Windows 98 SE (manually updated). My OS is in it's third incarnation, ie. I have cloned it across 3 HDDs, and 3 Mainboards. Also, I have used three different graphic cards with different drivers: nVidia TNT 2 (PCI), ATI Radeon 7500 (AGP) and ATI Radeon 9550 (AGP).

I usually have my Desktop resolution set to 640x480 (unless a program requires a higher setting), but higher resolutions seem to make no difference.

The image file I have attached, shows the problem as it was seen at 640x480 (Resized, due to Forum restrictions). As the picture shows, the misalignment only occurs at the beginning of the Hex dump listing. The display is only misaligned when the text color is Black.

I assume this is a Win9x issue, because I have also used FileAlyzer on Windows XP with two different systems (1 AGP, and 1 PCI-E), and it looked fine on them.

FileAlyzer is an excellent utility, and with the next stable release coming soon, I thought 'now is the time' to describe my experiences, concerning this issue. :)
