that is really pernicious.
Running WinXP,Office (I think).
LOst ability to click on IE icon and open a home page. She has to use a blank page to open browser and all browsing is directed to paid advertising.
Also lost much page content and can't open pages like SPYBOT and still see anything like clickable icons.
MY QUESTION IS: Can anyone suggest a software package to clean this mess up or should I attempt to remove/reinstall the whole operating system? I don't want to spend much since the tower cost less than a visit to a place like GeekSquad.
