View Full Version : What do you think about the 2nd Gen Iphone?
With all the talk and hype about the second generation iphone from Apple, I was just wondering what you guys (and gals) think :)

Wasn't the black cover uncovered as a fake?
The GPS rumour would be nice, but getting full Bluetooth support on the current model would be even better, since an external Bluetooth can be placed wherever the reception is best.
And I don't need UMTS (don't even use data most of the time - not on an official contract... ;) ), but better signal reception would be nice.
All in all: it's just a phone. Doesn't crash as often as WinMo smartphones, is easier to use and fits better into the pocket. But if the second edition doesn't have half a dozen yet unknown improvements, it won't be worth upgrading - imho.

Well, I wouldn't exactly say fake, but Engadget and Gizmodo used it to just illustrate a possible design for the new iphone
Update: To be clear, neither us nor Engadget were claiming that this is an actual pic, just illustrative
Yeah it would be nice to have the GPS, and the bluetooth would also be useful
Well, we just have to wait until Apple announce it and then we can see if it is worth getting :)
