i am weary of trying to turn off adtech2005 from my system. i have run windows defender, spybot and adaware but none seem to be able to turn off the adtech2005.exe programme from the startup. then i opened spybot, and using the advanced tools option, i went to the system startup options and deselected adtech2005 (and also itunesHelper.exe). brilliant, i thought.... not for long.
teatimer decided to disallow the change as soon as i exited spybot. grrr! i really like the teatimer software and am determined not to have to turn it off, but i will do so if i cant stop these 2 programs from my startup. can anybody help me with this issue?! thanks a million,

If you're getting a message similar to resident denied the change of adtech2005.exe according to your blacklist, try this:

Rightclick teatimer,then select settings.
A window should pop-up with Allowed processes,Blocked Processes,Allowed Registry Changes,Blocked Registry Changes
across the top.
Click blocked registry changes.Hover your mouse over any entry you see,and if you see a line with adtech2005.exe
at the end of it,move your mouse, then click the X on the right to remove it,then click okay.
That should stop resident denying adtech2005.exe being removed from startup.
Same goes for itunesHelper.exe,if that was disallowed, too, and you don't want it running at start-up anymore.

If you need further help after that, you could ask for it in malware removal(If you're not already being helped in another forum.)

The instructions are here:
