Hey,

Not sure if this should be posted here or in the new threats thread, but...

Each time I begin scanning with SpyBot, it doesn't actually go through the list of files on my computer in the bottom left hand corner. Instead it reads through a list of adware and spyware, then, when the scan completes, it states that there were no threats.

But there are threats there, they're being picked up by Adaware as well as my antivirus.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on?

There is probably nothing wrong with Spybot. Different antispyware programs target different spyware. I don't believe that there is any single product that catches everything.

For example, Ad-Aware detects more third party (tracking) cookies than Spybot does. See:
Why do other anti-spyware applications detect so many more tracking cookies?

If there is a specific detection that you are getting with Ad-Aware (other than tracking cookies) that you think Spybot should be detecting, feel free to start a topic in the New or undetected forum:
