View Full Version : Virtumonde trojan found and cleaned by Spybot, but then returns

I have run Spybot a few times and it said it found the Virtumonde trojan and cleaned it. Per Spybot's instructions, I disconnected from the internet, rebooted, and it did a scan again showing no infection. After a few minutes though, I had the Virtumonde trojan again.

I checked some of the forum threads about Virtumonde and it looks like the cure varies from computer to computer, so I'm hoping someone can help me cure my laptop of this malware. Thanks for your consideration, and let me know of any other info you'd like to see.
