hi all, what is the advanced detection option in the update download list for? and should i update this along with my regular detection updates?:confused: ....thanks..

Assuming that you are talking about the following update that was originally included with the updates released 2006-04-01:
Advanced detection library - Advanced detection routines update (87 KB) - 2006-03-10
That updated replaces the advcheck.dll library that is used in both the main Spybot program (SpybotSD.exe) and in TeaTimer.exe.

Yes you should download that!!!

The best general advice that I can give you is:
Download everything that is listed after you do a "Search for Updates".
