Situation: Microsoft makes PE 2.0, Vista based, available. AIK can be installed on various Windows versions. But on which does it really work?

The task here is to create a list of reliable operating systems that can be used to create this CD.
Windows XP Pro 64 bit SP2: works fine (development environment even)
Windows XP Pro 32 bit SP2: possible problems with imagex.exe
Windows 2003 Server: works fine (see this post)

Minimum requirement for an AIK installation is, according to the AIK installer, XP SP 2. Tests on Windows 2000 and below did therefore fail.

On Vista, everything seems to work fine as well, no errors during creation process, finished iso is bootable.
