Situation: immunization is now stand-alone, which offers to make some things easior on Vista.

Experienced: in 1.6, Spybot could only warn if it was not running elevated.

Expected: SDImmunize can detect if it is not elevated, and offer the user to do so.

Additional features: the Vista dialog could offer to run command line parameters.

When you select one of those actions what will be next? Will there be an option to select which browsers should be immunized and which not? Plus, what does means Vista-elevated? If that feature is only available on Vista, what will be with other Windows (9x/ME/NT/2K/XP)?

On Vista, even an admin is not operating with full admin rights until an app requests ond he confirms admin permissions. This process is called elevation.

If you click the first option, Immunization will restart itself, requesting elevation (apps do that while starting, not while they run - so the modularization helps us here).

Both options will lead to the immunization window that's mostly known and will just receive another facelift into the general direction of the new look.

On oler OS, elevation is not needed, so it's not offered (though offering a standard 2k/XP user to re-run just this immunization from an admin account would be very similar - the admin would have to enter his login for it of course).
