okay so i now have the following programs installed on my computer:
-spybot s&d
-avg free
-comodo firewall
-malwarebytes
-spyware blaster

Is this a little redundant or do i really need all of...

i guess so

i deleted both files then scanned with kaspersky which said my machine was clean. then i scanned with spybot and it said i had a trojan which it supposedly fixed now. so i don't know if everything is...

the only file i see is goo1C.tmp. is that the same?

So what you are saying is that i can run McAfee Antivirus w/ all features going (which has a firewall and a live protection feature) and Spybot s&d (full features running) and the two will not have...
