I forgot to mention, I did run a scan in Avast. It found 6 problems. 2 were moved to the chest. the other 4 couldn't be moved, so I deleted them.

I also ran spybot. All it found was 6 cookies...

I get redirected, and the PC shutdown to protect itself.

I'm using Vista.

I can't boot windows in any mode. I get a message: "shutting down to prevent damage".

I'm wondering if this is worth any more time, or should I reinstall?
