Default What are Spybotsd 160 and 162?

Please forgive me if this seems a basic question, as I am not very clever with the PC.

On my desktop, besides the "Spybot - Search & Destroy" shortcut icon, there are two more icons, "Spybotsd160" and "Spybotsd162". Their "Properties" tell me that they are Applications, created in August 2008 and February 2009 respectively.

Please can anyone tell me what they are for, do I need them, and if they are not needed, how do I remove them (and presumably whatever program they refer to)?

Thanks, and again apologies for what may be a simpleton's question.

These two applications are installers for Spybot 1.6.0 and Spybot 1.6.2.
You can find more information here.

After you have installed Spybot on your computer or if you don't want to install Spybot anymore, you can delete these two files.
Right click on them and choose delete.

If you have more questions, please just let us know.
    Best regards - Beste Grüße,

    Matt
