Default Continuous "Registry change allowed . . ." with IE Homepage

I am running Win XP Pro with IE7. This is a brand new home built computer with a new install of XP. I opened IE7 today and changed the homepage (I normally use Firefox), and now I get a continuous stream of "Resident" pop-ups saying that I have allowed a change to the "Start Page". I tried rebooting and changing the homepage to "about:blank" but it did not fix the problem. I know this is probably not a problem with Spybot, but I have never seen this before and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? Thanks in advance for the help!

    Default Got it working . . .

Ok, I just updated to the Beta 1.5 version of Spybot / Teatimer, rebooted and the problem stopped. Not sure if the reboot helped (problably not since I tried that before) or the new software fixed the problem. It looks like there is something wrong with Spybot / Teatimer 1.4 and IE7. I tried searching the forums but could not find any info on this. If it is in the forums, sorry about the clutter.
