Exclamation TeaTimer kills performance by factor of 10?

Task: ORACLE Forms 6i "start module in debug mode"

Without teatimer running the module pops up less than 2 Seconds after
the click, with TeaTimer.exe started it takes about 22 Seconds untill the
    module runs.

ProcExp (Sysinternals Process Explorer) shows 100% CPU usage
during those 22 Seconds with app. 50% "System time".

    Questions:
    - how to fix that slowdown, besides terminating TeaTimer, that is?
    - can i whitelist processes so TeaTimer ignores what they do?

    TIA

Are you sure it is TeaTimer, even on my very old computer (750mhz) TeaTimer only slowed my IE loading by a couple of seconds.

    Hello,

Which version of TeaTimer are you using?
Did you already tried the 1.5 beta?

    Best regards

    100% positive.
as soon as i kill proces TeaTimer.exe ORACLE Forms runs as fast as ever.

however, that slow down is only noticable with ORACLE Forms, other apps'
response times fell to be unaffected.

Just now I found the (well hidden ) download link for the new 1.5
version (the link in one of the forums posts), downloaded and installed it.
TeaTimer.exe (rightclick -> Properties-> Version) claims to be v1.5.0.0 now.

Alas, the problem is the same:

One big ORACLE Forms application takes 36 seconds from clicking "run"
in the developer user interface till the app starts up. With TeaTimer
stopped it takes the usual 1 - 1.5 seconds, for exactly the same app.,
    same action. repeatably.

So currently i simply can't use TeaTimer (i can't afford to stare at the
screen for half a minute every two or three code changes), unless
    1) i somehow can configure TeaTimer to not monitor the actions of
those well defined ORACLE Forms executables or
    2) you fix that slow down issue. I only noticed it with ORACLE Forms
application compilation, Firefox et.al. seem unaffected

    HTH
