Freezing/Not responding

I just recently downloaded Spyware S&D and my first attempts to use the program resulted in the program to freeze/not respond. It happens once the search is done and I click the removal button. I downloaded the newest version and checked for updates as well. I have windows xp pro and have a very 'large' computer with plenty of space and speed to run programs. I'm just not sure what would cause the program to continue freezing everytime I click the removal button. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for all your hard work.

We have several posts from members regarding a freezing problem so to narrow it down, is Spybot-S&D finding a lot of problems on your computer as you said:

Also what other security programs do you have installed?
