Default Spybot - Search & Destroy copycat?

I saw this advert, and thought, what a rip....

Is this not a blatant take on spybot, trying to trick people into thinking they are the legit spybot?

    I mean, come on....
    It says:
    'SpywareBot: Free download'
'Search & Destroy All Software 5 Star Rated - Recommended

So it uses the Spy....Bot in its name....and then uses Search & Destroy in the next line 'decribing the product'.....

I could see how someone could mistake it....
    This - Spybot - Search & Destroy
Or this - Spywarebot, Search & Destroy All Software

The site I saw the ad was Betanews....
    http://www.betanews.com/

The site it lead to was Spywarebot....

    Hello Betaguy,

you are totally correct, they try to cheat users by advertising their malicious product through websites offering the real Spybot - Search & Destroy. We will contact betanews so they can stop their doing.

    Best regards,

I took a print screen photo of the ad and offending website when it was displayed....I do notice the place where the ad was displayed seems to roll ads over....

Oh, and the ad was provided by Google.

If you want the jpg of the ad and/or website with ad in it, give me an email address and ill send it to ya.
