Blu Crashing with spybot

Hi there, I've just installed spybot version 1.4 on my pc( XP professional service pack1)my cpu is amd 64 3000
When I start the scan after less than 1minute my sistem crash and on the screen appear a blu message of windows and the only thing that I can do is switch off the pc from the rear.
please could someone help me?
I have also previously installed Ad aware without troubles,but i need spybot.

Do you mean a blue screen of death?
If so,it might be helpful if you posted what it says,maybe someone can see what is going on from that.Here's an example of some of the things that you might want to post from the bsod:
