    Unhappy aggcl.job error

Hello, I get the following error when I start up (the PC is a Win XP prof. sp2):

"cannot open file c:\windows\tasks\aggcl.job - access denied"

    and

"access violation at address 00550FCB in module runalyzer.exe - read of address 000000004"

I just click ok, and things seem to be okay, but how do I get rid of this?

    Thanks,

Indeed there was a bug with reading data from disabled scheduled tasks. It's already been fixed, I hope I'll get a new version out tomorrow or Tuesday

    edit: Download RunAlyzer 0.6.8.3 here

Oh, that sounds like it isn't the cant-read-disabled-files-bug, but some yet unhandled speciality in reading the properties of those job files (we're handling the file contents completely with our own code, since using API functions wouldn't work on disabled files, and also not on inactive partitions - and since the file structure is not documented by Microsoft, and not always completely by other researchers, sometimes rare conditions may be overlooked).
Could you attach or better mail me the file in question?

Oh, sorry that I overlooked this :-/
    If c:\windows\tasks\aggcl.job doesn't exist, maybe there is a c:\windows\tasks\aggcl.job.bak?

    Hello.
I've got similar experience with my "AppleSoftwareUpdate.job".

If I remove this file, when starting RunAlyzer firstly a dialog notifies me that the file cannot be found, and when I hit OK and continue, an access violation occurs. The RunAlyzer's window shows up finally, but some its functionality is disabled. such as "Windows LSPs" and "Scheduled Tasks" tabs that show empty lists.

I simply created a mock scheduled task with that name, and I could continue my work normally!

And I downloaded this version two days ago.

It's very strange, but my tasks folder is empty.
