    Default Help! smitfraud problem

I had a lot of viruses and spyware running earlier, and after running a bunch of different scanners I'm down to just this one (I hope)

Welcome to the forum, if you still need help and are not receiving it elsewhere, since I do not see the results of a online virus scan posted I must assume you missed this information:
"BEFORE you POST" Mandatory Steps Before Requesting Assistance
    http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288
All advice given is taken at your own risk.

This is what I see in the HJT log: Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1
Scan saved at 5:37:54 AM, on 4/29/2007

    1) See this information: http://forums.spybot.info/showpost.p...80&postcount=2
C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\ <<< very out of date, download the newest version of Java and uninstall all old versions in Add Remove Programs.

    2) Whle we know only to run one antivirus program and one firewall, the jury is still out on how many spyware programs are too many to the point where they conflict with each other. I fear you have reached that point with:
    C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MsMpEng.exe
    C:\Program Files\Grisoft\AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5\guard.exe
    C:\Program Files\SUPERAntiSpyware\SUPERAntiSpyware.exe

Since Windows Defender is free, if the others are trials, I would consider uninstall them or at least contacting their technical support with a query about what problems will occur running with two other powerful programs like this.

I see no "malware" in the log so correct that dangerous security issue with Java and let me know if their is more I can do.

If you have not done so since removing the malware, I suggest cleaning your Sustem Restore files:
System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:
    http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT...rc=sec_doc_nam

Here is some great information from Tony Klein, Texruss, ChrisRLG and Grinler to help you stay clean and safe online:
