Yeah, the more I started studying for this thing, I quickly realized this was a vocabulary competition, the National vocabulary Championship....I probably dont stand a chance, but I learned some good words in here....does anybody know any vocabulary games? www.winwithwords.com has all kinds of study related material from the princeton review on how to pick up new words....
any other suggestions?
Crossword puzzles?
Does anyone in here who currently is in high school wants to enter the National Vocab Competition? If so register at http://www.winwithwords.com/compete.phpor by entering the Citywide Championship in selected cities across the country. I'll be competing in Los Angeles this November.
