    Default Quicktime at bootup problem

Why won`t quicktime be added to the Blocked Reg Settings when I physically ask for it to be Blocked? Thx.

I'm not sure. This is a prompt from Teatimer? Are you checkmarking Remember this decision when you try to block it?

If you'd like Quicktime not to run on start-up,tashi's suggestions here might work out better:

Quicktime's startup is like a boomerang - it keeps on coming back.

The only way I ever found to stop it coming back for good was to rename qttask.exe to something else, like qttask2.exe. (The disadvantage is that I need to remember to undo the rename if I decide to uninstall it or update it.)
