To start TeaTimer and add a startup entry so that it will start when the system is started or restarted:
    • Go into Spybot > Mode > Advanced Mode > Tools > Resident.
    • Check the following:
      • Resident "TeaTimer" (Protection of over-all system settings) Active.
To stop TeaTimer and remove the startup entry so that it will not start when the system is started or restarted:
    • Go into Spybot > Mode > Advanced Mode > Tools > Resident.
    • Uncheck the following:
      • Resident "TeaTimer" (Protection of over-all system settings) Active.

    ____________

Just to briefly stop and restarted Teatimer:
    • To stop TeaTimer right click on TeaTimer's (Spybot-SD Resident) System Tray Icon > click Exit Spybot-S&D Resident.
      • TeaTimer closes.
    • To restart TeaTimer:
      • Using Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy.
      • Double click TeaTimer.exe to start it.

And for temporarily disabling it in the new 1.5 versions, right-click the TeaTimer icon in the tray aray, and click "Resident protection". The checkmark in front of it will go away and the icon will grey out, showing its passive, until you click it again.
