Default Removed 'system internal' from exlude list

    Hello,
Can someone please help me with a stupid thing i did.

I had 4 items in the 'ignore system internals list'.
I stupidly removed 1 from the ignore list.:o
Now I only have three in the ignore list. They are:

    %JavaDir%QTJava.zip Missing Shared DLL
    install.exe wrong app path
    winnt32.exe wrong app path

Is there a way to reset my exclude/ignore settings, and have the fourth item back in the 'ignore system internals list'?

I run Windows ME (my restore function never worked)
    Thanx for the help.

The attached SystemInternals.zip contains a copy of the SystemInternals.sbe file with all four entries. Downlod SystemInternals.zip and with Spybot down, unzip the content of SystemInternals.zip into the following folder:
    • C:\Windows\All Users\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Excludes

    Added with edit:
    Attachment removed.

Do you mean that I leave Spybot alone, before I download/unzip the SystemInternals.zip you attached?

Sorry for my English. Sometimes I don't understand everything. Just to be sure.

    Thank You.

    Warning !!!

Do not attempt to replace the SystemInternals.sbe file it will make matters worse. The SystemInternals.sbe is protected within Spybot and if you attempt what I suggested Spybot will eliminate all the entries.

The missing entry in your Ignore System Internals is:
    • install.exe - Wrong app path

Since the SystemInternals.sbe where these entries are stored is protected from changes outside of Spybot, I can only suggest the if you run a Systems Internals check and get a install.exe - Wrong app path to added it back into the Ignores by right clicking on the entry and selecting "Exclude this entry from further searches" or to reinstall.

Are you really sure about this?
    I use Windows Millenium.
I thought it should be the MsoHtmEd.exe (Wrong app
    path)

    Install.exe is on my list.

These 3 items I still have in my System Internals Ignore list:

    %JavaDir%QTJava.zip Missing Shared DLL
    install.exe wrong app path
    winnt32.exe wrong app path

When I now check System Internals with Spybot, and search for registry inconsistencies, I will find 3 items with a Wrong App. But the MsoHtmEd.exe (Wrong app path) isn't there.

Do you mean that I just can re-install Spybot S&D, and the settings will switch back to how they should be? Or would this make things worse too????

    You are correct.

I verified that uninstalling and reinstalling will return Ignore System Internals to the defaults.
