While some people do use more than one antispyware program, only one resident real time protection should be active.

Ewido/AVG only has real-time monitoring in the paid version, so there shouldn't be any conflicts if using the free program.

Before considering three ASW programs, which is a lot, take a look at how much RAM is available on that Acer.

So how did I get infected in the first place? has some good tips.

As to how those three get along, I am not aware of any conflicts at this particular time.

The applications you mention are all AntiSpyware, not AntiVirus.
You will need a separate program for Antivirus protection.

Disc space is not the same as having a lot of ram
Your ram will (usually) be something like 256mb, 512mb, 1gb

My personal favorite is avast! Anti-Virus. The "Home Edition" is free for use at home, so you don't have to fork out a lot of money for your AV protection.

Another good free AV is AntiVir, but it will show you a huge ad for the premium version when it downloads it's updates.

Also note that there is a difference between an Anti-Virus application and an Anti-Spyware application. Reguardless of what Anti-Virus you choose, make sure to also have at least Spybot Search & Destroy 1.5 and SpywareBlaster installed. Also make sure to open up both of those once a week (every Thursday is probably best), and check for updates.
