Default Spybot Run time error 216

Hi, I had a problem and followed the advice given in in this thread
    http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=18856

However, this evening when I try to run spybot I get runtime error 216
I am running Spybot 1.5 I have also read in other forums about many different problems with Spybot 1.5...some say that 1.5 should not have been released yet as it is too unstable
Is anybody else running into this problem?
Is there a solution apart from reverting back to version 1.4?

Does that mean that you applied the fixes suggested in the other thread and are now running SpybotSD.exe Version 1.5.1.16 when you encountered the problem?

Getting an answer is one thing, learning is another.

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition running on a 2.40GHz IntelŪ PentiumŪ 4 Processor with 512 MB of RAM and a 533 MHz System Bus.

    Default Sorry for the misunderstanding

OK, I followed this part of the fix
Here is the download file for the fix:
    http://www.safer-networking.org/file...8-79-84-85.zip
Please store the two containing files (spybotsd.exe and domains.sbs) in your Spybot folder.
    Normally it is located here:
    C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy

The spybotsd.exe belongs to this path:
    C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy
The domains.sbs belongs to this one:
    C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Includes

I now have Spybot version 1.5.1.16
After the fix I tried it several times and nothing happened.....then that same evening I opened it but got the runtime error code quite a few times. However at the moment it is running OK apart from the fact that where 1.4 used about 60% of my RAM this 1.5 version is using 80 - 90% and at times it is at 100% for several minutes!! I have 512MB RAM. In case you ask, Yes, before Installing Spybot 1.5, I uninstalled version 1.4 and ran a cleaner to get rid of any old files. After this I installed Spybot 1.5.

    Default Have gone back....

    Hi,
Due to the lack of activity for my problem I have un-installed version 1.5 and reverted back to 1.4 and since then have had NO problems...
Obviously this was just one of many problems with version 1.5
. I will wait for 1.5 until I can see via this forum that it is more stable. I'm not knocking Spybot because it's a wonderful program...I just think that this version was released too early!!
    Thanks anyway
