Unhappy Spybot blocks IWON--Need to Unblock

Spybot was recently updated (from a very old version) on my uncle's computer. After running Spybot, he discovered he could no longer access iwon.com. He LOVES iwon; therefore, iwon must be allowed.

I have removed iwon from the host file. I have deleted iwon from the restricted sites. I am finally able to get to the website. However, when I try to log in, it appears that nothing is happening. The screen just flips back to the sign on screen. It is as if the cookies are blocked. However, the settings are down to either medium low or low.

If I uninstall Spybot, will "restore" the computer settings or will the problem still exist? What should I do?

    Thanks!

You said you updated Spybot. Are you running Spybot 1.5 and are you running Spybot's Resident "SDHelper"?

If so look in the SDHelper.log and see if anything is being blocked. The SDHelper.log is located in one of the following directories:
    • Windows 95 or 98:
      C:\Windows\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Logs
    • Windows ME:
      C:\Windows\All Users\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Logs
    • Windows NT, 2000 or XP:
      C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Logs
    • Windows Vista:
      C:\ProgramData\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Logs

Getting an answer is one thing, learning is another.

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition running on a 2.40GHz IntelŪ PentiumŪ 4 Processor with 512 MB of RAM and a 533 MHz System Bus.
