iexplore potential virus?

About a week ago my zonealarm firewall started telling me that iexplore.exe was trying to access various IP addresses. I did not used to get this message and can only access the internet if I allow iexplore.exe access. Searching google makes me think this is a virus , but I have run various on line scans and not detected anything. Can you please look at the logs and tell me if I have a problem.

iexplore.exe is the main executable for Microsoft Internet Explorer

Hackers have used this name in the past for trojans but not recently that I can recall. Your clue occurs when you do not allow it access to the internet. Can't get online without IE.

I see no malware in the HJT log and don't need to see the Kaspersky scan unless there are issues.

I assume you want the items in the Trusted Zone (O15) to be there.

C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_03\bin\jusched.exe <<< Java is out of date and dangerous as you read.
Update to the newest version and uninstall any old versions in Add Remove programs. I should point out this is the auto scheduler (jusched.exe)
which should mean you have scheduled them to update for you. The scheduler has always been buggy and I turned mine off long ago and do my update check along with Windows Updates once a month. It may be the update is scheduled for a time when the computer is not on, one way or another check that.

System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:

AVG Anti-Spyware is a good program but it does use some resources. Once the trial is over you can update and use the scanner for as long as you wish, but unless you purchase it you should turn it off completely so it does not run unless you start it manually.
