Did I miss something ?
As soon as I loaded Spybot onto my notebook I was perpetually annoyed by 2 interrelated shortfalls.
On some networks I require a proxy, on others, not.
This is on a daily basis. Spybot is scheduled multiple days a week - with auto update on load.
So, of course, auto update will only proceed when the proxy setting matches the current network.
I can find no cmd. line switch to control this.
Seems like a very basic parameter to write into the command line.
Secondly, when there is no socket made due to the proxy state, it takes forever to time out the connexion attempt - the cancel [kill the update search] button appears non-functional.
If, in fact, there is no cmd. switch for proxy, please add it to the next build.
