In my other pc using Window ME, I used the Spybot 1.4 to scan with the following result:

GolnDirect
- uninstaller
c:\windows\system\goinuninstall.exe
- Executable
c:\windows\system\ceuninstall.exe

S&D cannot remove it even it rescan upon reboot.

Please advice how can I remove this GolnDirect.

try updating and then rescanning. if it still cannot be removed, (make sure its advanced mode, found under mode)under spybot click settings-settings-scroll down to system start, and choose automatically run program at system startup. See if it can delete it then.

IF THAT doesn't work, post a hijack this log, go to download.com and type in hijack this in the search and download the program, scan and save the logfile and post it here. (I think u posted this in the wrong place so they might move your thread to the malware removal section.)

I do not want to install Spybot 1.5 version and the 1.4 version in my ME, the definitions were updated, I run the scan a few times including in Safe Mode, still S&D were unable to clean it. So looks like been HJ ha, thanks

why don't you want to upgrade? Its a worthy upgrade from version 1.4.
