Help! Won't run "problm ck": OOS SyncNet?

I have ran Spybot for several years. Just now when I try to run the "problem ck" it gives msg "Error during Ck: OOS SyncNet" Then below it says "Congrats! No imm threats were found"----WITHOUT RUNNING THE CK !
I downloaded updates but it still says the same thing when I try the prob ck. What is wrong? My system has been really slowed down since I started getting this message.
Should I uninstall and reinstall it? If so, how do I do it?
Is there an EASY way to do it?
