i tried to scan my pc with Kaspersky Online Scanner it starts ok but when it have checked about 12000 files it brings me an internet explorer error message and can't continue scanning. i had IE 6 i upgraded to IE 7 and the same thing happens.

Save it to your Desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish.
The fix will begin; follow the prompts.
You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so.
Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.
Once the desktop loads post the text that will open (report.txt) and a new Hijackthis log in the forum please.

We need first to disable TeaTimer that it doesn't interfere with fixes. You can re-enable it when you're clean again:
1. Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
2. If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
3. On the left hand side, Click on Tools
4. Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
5. Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
6. Restart your computer.

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

Run ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
Click the Empty Selected button.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Restart and post a new HJT log and let me know how the computer is running now.

i did everything you told me exactly as you told me but it still tries to send me to shedalight.info it doesn't load but at the bottom of mozilla it is saying "waiting for shedalight.info..." but no matter how long you wait it never loads the page

When you say "it still tires to send me" are you talking about Firefox?
What happens when you use Internet Explorer? What do you have set as your StartPage in Firefox, keep in mind the malware may have changed this and you may have to re-establish the StartPage of your choice.

yes i am talking about firefox forgive me but i am greek and my english are not so good. what i mean is that it tries to load the page i ask, but never manage to load the page. it just has a blank page and at the bottom it says "waiting for shedalight.info...". i use firefox as my default explorer i have IE 7 because of some pages such as http://www.kaspersky.com/downloads/kws/kavwebscan.html which needs IE 6 and higher to work. when i make a search at IE 7 and try to open a link to a new tab it redirects me to irrelevant sites. i dissabled teatimer and did fix checked but it is still happening the same thing.

Thanks for the feedback, we appear to have removed the infection, let's run a Kaspersky online scan. It must be run with Internet Explorer and you may have to turn off your resident antivirus program.

Run this online scan using Internet Explorer:
Kaspersky Online Scanner from http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner

Next Click on Launch Kaspersky Online Scanner

You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.

* The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
* Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
* Now click on Scan Settings
* In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
* Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
* Standard
* Scan Options:
* Scan Archives
* Scan Mail Bases
* Click OK
* Now under select a target to scan:
* Select My Computer
* This will program will start and scan your system.
* The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
* Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
* Now click on the Save as Text button:
* Save the file to your desktop.

Then post it here.

i tried to make karpensky online scan before i make open this post so that i post the log report along with the hjt log file and i also tried again now, but as many times as i tried to scan my computer the same error at exactly the same time keeps happening. i go to the karpensky site and i do everything you told me to the scan begins but while having scanned 12216 file and while scanning C:\Documents and settins\a\Local Set...l.com\SharingMetaData\Logs\Dfsr00005.log it shows me an error and says that Ie has to close due to this error. everytime i try to scan the same error at exactly the same time pops to me

Are you saying to me that you are having the same issue with Internet Explorer that you are having with Firefox exactly?

Let's see if combofix can find any problems, it is important you follow the directions:

• Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
• When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log and a HiJackthis log in your next reply

Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while its running. That may cause it to stall
