Default I have a bug that won't allow spybot to open

It won't launch spybot or any other protection software or anti-virus zapper or anything. Help. Its some deal where it say my files are being copied and to buy the fix. The actual file copy window opens up, but its just B.S
Anyone know how I can launch spybot?

    The machine is likely infected.

Please follow the procedure in this link to produce a HJT log:
"BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance)

Obviously skip the instructions to run Spybot-S&D, let us know if you cannot run HJT.

Then start your own thread in the Malware Removal Forum where a helper will advise you when available.

    Exclamation Medichi Virus

I had this same problem as well. Its the medichi.exe virus. It disables Norton and Spybot.

    This fixed it for me..

    Hello kirbtech.

We refer members to our Malware Removal Forum for a reason, one being that a log should be analysed before advising a fix.
"BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance)

Following advice and fixes specifically given to another person is risky. Symptoms may only appear to be similar, and there could be other malware on the machine needing removal in sequence.

As stated by the moderator in the link you provided.

    @ CD27 and dave004 : please read this :
Please Read! "Who is Helping you?"

There are different variants of a given virus and an infected computer is usually prone to be infected by other malwares. The 5 steps before posting a log are required to identify the various threats and know what we're dealing with.

We understand that you are willing to help but eventually this may end up worse if the removal steps are not taken in the right order.
That is also the reason we do not allow members to post in anothers malware removal topic.

    Best regards.
