See if you can:

• Boot into Safe Mode (Note #1).
• Using Task Manager (CTRL-ALT-DEL), execute RegEdit (Note #2).
• Then Import the xp_exe_fix.reg without errors.

Note #2: File menu, then hold down the CTRL key and click "New Task (Run)" and at the Command Prompt window. Enter REGEDIT.EXE and press Enter.
