Excessive Program Load Time

I recently installed Version: 1.5 and immediately noticed a significant increase in load time ... so long, in fact (2 minutes), that the first two times I opened Spybot, I thought the program had failed and was not loading.

Why is there so much load time difference between Ver: 1.4 and 1.5?

Personally, I went back to 1.4.

We already have located the startup problems in Spybot S&D version 1.5 and fixed it.

I have downloaded this fix, but it appears to be the whole program (not a fix). Is it necessary to uninstall Spybot before installing this "Fix" ?

Hi Arpy7,

The fix spybotsandra was talking about is the beta version of spybot (a whole program). You can install the beta over your current installation of your 'slow' spybot.
