    If I looked up anything on google, is it possible to get Viruses/Spyware from it? I was just looking up games, not clicking on the links when suddenly my firewall (Trend Micro 2007) says "Malicious Website" and all that... So...

    Can I get spyware/viruses from just looking up websites/images/news/etc. on google?

    To clarify, when you say you were looking up games and not clicking on links, you stayed on a Google index page and did not surf from there to a site?

    Google tries to put a warning on known malicious sites although it is a losing proposition.
