1.5 new install hangs 1.4 runs just great

I got infected with a bot net and had to format & reinstall OS win98SE, and OS is now fully updated.

I saw that there was a new Spybotsd 1.5 so I downloaded & installed. I can download updates. However, when I start the program my floppy drive is activated and that is all that happens.

Ctl-Alt-Del shows that it is running but nothing happens.

I have un-installed and reinstalled 3 times.

I installed 1.4 and it runs fine.

any ideas?

We already have located the startup problems in Spybot S&D version 1.5 and fixed it.
Here is the download file for the fix - the new Spybot beta.

I un-installed 1.4 and installed spybotsd15he-beta2. It ran just fine.
