Default SD Helper Icon Gone from System Tray

During a discussion with an MRU, I was instructed to uninstall/reinstall Spybot S&D. No problems, but I am running in Advanced mode and thought I had configured the settings so I could see the SD Helper in the system tray. It does not appear, but seems to be working in the background.

Might sound silly, but I like the comfort of seeing the little padlock icon on my system tray. How do I make it visible?

    TIA.

    Hello,

The icon in the system tray is not the SDHelper it is the resident TeaTimer.
You can activate TeaTimer as follows:
    - Go into Spybot - Mode - Advanced Mode - Tools - Resident.
    - Check the following: Resident "TeaTimer" (Protection of over-all system settings) Active.

    Best regards

    Default Still not visible...

I had checked those settings and they are as they should be, but the icon still did not appear. Apparently I inadvertently denied the startup of the program when I reinstalled. I unchecked and rechecked the box, the registry change dialog came up, so I then allowed the change. The icon is back.

Thanks for your help in diagnosing the issue, I appreciate it.
