Question Finds Problems but does not fix them.

I run a scan and problems are found. When I click fix problems it goes through and I get the green check marks next to everything but I reboot and run a scan again and everything is still there. Another thing I might add is when I first used spybot there was 7 problems found. About two weeks later it was up to 15 and more and more everytime. It is so crazy I am constantly getting popups trying to sell me a drive cleaner and other "cleaning" programs. Then today my task manger is somehow blocked. When I hit cntrl-alt-delete it says task manager but I can't chose that. I look through Windows help so I made sure it wasn't administration rights or anything. I am the only user so that's not possible. I run spybot and an entry saying microsoft task manager came up. Click fix problems (made sure it had a check mark), everything gets green check mark. Reboot, run scan again and everything is still there and still can't use task manager. Immediately after that my wall paper turns black and says "spyware threat has been detected on your pc", I have 2 exclamation marks with yellow triangles around them next to my clock and getting bubbles that say "computer running slowly because of spyware threat" and "at least 12 spyware entries found". I can only stay online for about 20 minutes before I freeze up. About to go get a new hard drive and start fresh because I am sooooooo confused. I know this is alot but if anyone could please help me it would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds as if you have a seriously infected system. I suggest you consider posting in the Malware Removal forum and having someone take a look at your system.

If you decide to have an experienced malware removal specialist assist you, please follow the procedure in this link to run scans and produce a HijackThis log:
After you have completed the required scans and produced the requested logs, start your own thread in the Malware Removal forum, making sure to post the logs produced from the above instructions.

Getting an answer is one thing, learning is another.
