Default Spybot S&D hangs at CoolWWWsearch

Today I downloaded & installed the latest version of Spybot S&D. The scan started normally but when it reached "At CoolWWWSearch.Feat2Installer" (item 24994/121402), spybot hangs and an error message pops up "Windows - No Disk, Error Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf9c 4 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c". I have saved screen shot (too big to download)

Trying the Cancel, Try Again and Continue buttons does nothing. The only way to resolve appears to be End Task through Windows Task Manager. Doing so results in an error message sent to Microsoft with the following contents:
    C:\DOCUME~1\Peter\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER68f9.dir00\SpybotSD.exe.mdmp
    C:\DOCUME~1\Peter\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER68f9.dir00\appcompat.txt

I have tried this 4 times with the exact same results. I removed and reloaded Spybot and the same occurs.
Any Suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you

    Hello,

Please delete also your temporary files.
Clean your Cache and Cookies in IE:

    * Close all instances of Outlook Express and Internet Explorer
    * Go to Control Panel > Internet Options > General tab
    * Click the "Delete Cookies" button
    * Next to it, Click the "Delete Files" button
    * When prompted, place a check in: "Delete all offline content",
    click OK

Clean your Cache and Cookies in Firefox (In case you also have
    Firefox installed):

    * Go to Tools > Options.
    * Click Privacy in the menu on the left side of the Options window.
    * Click the Clear button located to the right of each option
    (History, Cookies, Cache).
    * Click OK to close the Options window
Alternatively, you can clear all information stored while browsing
    by clicking Clear All.
A confirmation dialog box will be shown before clearing the
    information.

Clean other Temporary files + Recycle bin

    * Go to start > run and type: *cleanmgr* and click ok.
    * Let it scan your system for files to remove.
    * Make sure Temporary Files, Temporary Internet Files, and Recycle
Bin are the only things checked.
    * Press OK to remove them.

It should also help to deactivate the scanning for usage tracks.
Please run Spybot-S&D and switch to "Advanced mode" via the menu bar item "Mode". Now select "Settings" --> "File Sets" in the navigation bar on the left. The checkboxes in front of "Usage tracking" and "tracks.uti" have to be unticked if you do not want to find usage tracks anymore.

    Best regards
    Sandra

    Thank you.

I followed your instructions for all 3 login users on the computer (I do not have firefox). 'Delete all offline content' did not show up so instead I deleted 'form data'.

Unfirtunately the problem remains. Any other suggestions?

    Default The problem is fixed

I used CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/) and gave my machine a thorough wash both registry and removal of unecessary files.

    Thank you for your assistance

Default Try scanning in Safe Mode

I may have reported the 'fix' too soon. The next time I cleanned w/ CCleaner, SpyBot stopped again.

I tried scanning in safe mode though and experienced no problems.
