    just done an update for vista, a couple of security updates, an update for ie 7 and updates for windows defender plus one for vista. After the updates installed and a reboot done, an error message pops up on screen about the system protector program having problems and was forced to close. Manually launching the tea timer has the same result as well as rebooting the pc again. ANybody any info with any conflicts the latest updates for vista with spybot. I have never had a problem with spybit till now.

    This is the third report in as many weeks of Tea Timer not working with SP1. The only thing you can do is to not use it and wait For Spybot 1.5.3 to come out
    If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

    It worked with vista sp1, i just done a check for updates, found some updated for IE, Security updates, Defenders updates and a vista update. Thinkin about unistalling theses updates. SP1 worked fine with spybot though.

    Why don't you try clearing all the snapshots files?

    That means deleting everything in folder C:\ProgramData\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Snapshots2\

    Then launch TeaTimer again.
