hello. do you help with driver problems? everytime i start up my computer, i get the following error message: "disk 1 not found : serial ata, sata-1". f1 starts the computer up, f2 sends me to the bios. i went to my manufacturer's website, dell support, and they had me install their latest bios version and go the the bios, assuring me that the problem would go away when i exited the bios. needless to say, the problem hasn't gone away. after i installed the new bios (though this happened before i installed it as well, from time to time), i get a blue screen error message saying i may have to disable a drive and my computer's using too much memory, also that i may have to update my bios and disable caching or memory options.
i've copied down the driver settings that are on my bios (what's set at off, what's set at on, what's set at usb, etc). i'm not sure if this forum is designed to help with these types of problems, but i thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. do you have an idea of what's wrong with my computer?
thanks so much for your time.
