    Default Can't install Spybot if no internet connection

    On a virus-ridden PC I was trying to install Spybot without connecting the PC to the internet. But the installer failed because of the absence of an internet connection.

    Surely this action should be possible? I had downloaded the 152 installed and the updates on another PC, to a USB flash drive!

    Untick the "Download updates now" option in the installer and it will install.
    If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
