    Question trojan.sbi

    how do i get rid of a trojan.sbi i did a search and destroy and a full scan and it came up nothing but when i did a search and destroy it said that there were problems in the include file c:\program files\spybot-search destroy\
    includes\trojan.sbi then it says i should include errors.log for details
    i have no clue what to do help

    Hello, you have a dated version of Spybot-SD. Please download the latest version at:

    http://www.safer-networking.org/en/mirrors/index.html

    Download it, and install the updates. Thanks.

    I would suggest you post in the malware removal forum since you know you are infected.

    Um, 1292620 this is actually a program thing. He is not infected. All he needs is to upgrade to v.1.5.2.20.

    how do i get rid of trojan? And that spybot is causing him problems. If he cant get rid of the trojan, even after he has updated the spybot program, then he needs to visit the malware removal forums. It was basically an add on to what you were saying

    Wrong. trojan.sbi is sorta like a detection file. He'll be find if he'll upgrade to 1.5.2.20. And the reason in fact is that, Spybot is not causing him troubles. It's the fact that he's using a dated version of Spybot-SD.

    thanks so much for the info. I updated and now it works fine..you were right it was a program thing
