Default Critical Bug in v1.6 explorer scan

    Hello,

I would like to inform the developers...that the new feature of right click shell extension scan freezes the pagefile.

    Method to reproduce the bug:

    1. Right Click the C: drive (Windows Installation directory)
    2. Click Scan

    Behaviour:

Windows Default Page file usage increases to 100% gradually....ultimately leading to Automatic increase of the page file size, without a breakpoint. Windows finally freezes.

    Severity of Bug: Critical

    Question

I've run several scans wih the new "Right Click Scan option" and had no problems with it.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

The question perhaps is why one would use the right click option (which I would have thought would normally expected to be used for quick scans of a single folder) to scan an entire partition.

Personally, I believe that to stop this kind of occurrence, context menu scanning should be disabled in certain places - I think this is one of these places

    Default Also to add

if the system is managing the pagefile, that does not happen, at least not to me
