    Hi

Please go to Kaspersky website and perform an online antivirus scan.

    1. Read through the requirements and privacy statement and click on Accept button.
    2. It will start downloading and installing the scanner and virus definitions. You will be prompted to install an application from Kaspersky. Click Run.
    3. When the downloads have finished, click on Settings.
    4. Make sure these boxes are checked (ticked). If they are not, please tick them and click on the Save button:
      • Spyware, Adware, Dialers, and other potentially dangerous programs
        Archives
    5. Click on My Computer under Scan.
    6. Once the scan is complete, it will display the results. Click on View Scan Report.
    7. You will see a list of infected items there. Click on Save Report As....
    8. Save this report to a convenient place. Change the Files of type to Text file (.txt) before clicking on the Save button.
    9. Please post this log in your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log.

    Another thing:
My free AVG occasionally (one or two times a day, none today yet) shows dialogue boxes saying that there's some trojan horse downloader detected on open. I always move the files to the virus vault, but they come again.
The files end with file name A00#####.exe (# = any number)
I also found lots of these files when I run a scan of deleted files with Piriform Recuva, which showed that these files all have the same file size of 2086KB.
As coincidentally the scan today appears that my system is clean, it appears that the whatever infection just went away on itself ?!
However, Malwarebyte's Anti-malware still finds the same infection and shows the same error message.

    Hi

Those are in system restore, we will handle them later.

As for MBAM, have you updated it?

I check for updates before every scan.

I did update mbam just now and performed a scan, though,
and it seems that the problem of shutting down is solved somehow.
The error message still displays, but it continues scanning afterwards.

    Hi

    Yes you should.

Let me know if it isn't successful and we remove them using other means.

    Still problems?
